Growing Pains is the long-awaited new album from international award-winning recording artist and Roberta Flack protégé Honey Larochelle.
After eight years touring internationally alongside Jonathan Butler, Honey returns with a deeply personal body of work shaped by heartbreak, real life, and the collage of experiences gathered across stages and cities around the world. Rooted in soul, with traces of Smooth Jazz and R&B woven throughout, the album reflects the full range of a true artist formed in motion.
The lead single, “Bonded,” tells the story of lifelong friendship even as life pulls you in different directions. The track features Grammy-nominated saxophonist Marcus Anderson and is produced by Billboard chart-topping producer Daryl Williams.
This is not just a return. It’s an arrival.

In her own artistry, Honey has been able to share her original music across the world. After releasing her first album, a classic soul adventure entitled, The Yes Feeling, she released an EDM inspired EP, Hijack. Her most recent release is a reggae soul project called 11:11.
For this album, Honey blended her soulful melodies and harmonies with Danish super producer, Pharfar’s, reggae dancehall production sensibilities to create a group of feel-good songs that tell soothing stories in a genre she’s affectionately coined “Irie Soul.”
Pharfar and Honey met in Copenhagen, instantly connected, and recorded 11 songs in 11 days. From there, they travelled back and forth between Denmark and Los Angeles over the course of five years to complete this body of work. Currently, Honey tours globally performing her original works, teaching "Indie Artist Success" workshops, and featuring as a special guest with musical legends. All the while she continues writing and recording new material.
Her latest venture is Sing by Numbers—a revolutionary music education platform that teaches singers the language of numbers to accelerate ear training, unlock confidence, and make them more hireable. Developed from decades of touring, producing, and coaching, Honey created Sing by Numbers to demystify music theory and help artists communicate with musicians, harmonize on the fly, and learn songs faster. With a growing online academy, interactive community, and practical tools designed for real-world musicianship, Honey is on a mission to transform the lives of 10,000 singers in the next 10 years.
